CHILLHOUND IS EASY!

ChillHound is an easy to use web application that allows you to invite friends, family, co-workers and other contracts to any type of event. Everything from Birthday Parties, Family Events, Sporting Events, Fantasy Drafts and anything else that needs a group invite is perfect for ChillHound. All you do is set up your event, select the people you want to invite and click “Send”. Our software does the rest.

 

Even better, if there is a fee or monetary contribution needed from guests, we have a built in crowd sourcing function that allows hosts to collect! The money gets deposited right into your personal account! No more hounding for cash or worrying about who will and who won’t pay their share.

GETTING STARTED

Just Click “Register” and you can set up your own ChillHound account for free. Once your account is completed, you are ready to start your first ChillHound Event.

SETTING UP EVENT

When you are ready to invite guests, just click the “Create an Event” button on your home page. This will prompt you to enter the information about your event. The event name, the date, start time, end time and location are all important pieces of information you will need to enter.

 

Once that is done, click “Next” and you will be able to select guests or input new guests for your event. Make sure to enter each e-mail address correctly – this is the address that your invitation is going to go to.

 

You can also upload an image for your event or choose one of our pre-loaded images that fit your type of event or party.

INFO LINK/POTLUCK

Enter any link regarding information you would like to have (i.e. Registries, Fantasy Links, Vacation Links, Personal Websites, Videos, etc.) and a brief description. You can also allow for guests to enter in “potluck” information where they can state to the group what they will be bringing to the event.

ADD GUEST FEE

If your event has a fee for each guest, maybe a sporting event, concert or fund raiser, you will select “Funds Will Be Deposited To” My Bank Account. This prompts you to enter the contribution amount and the bank information for the account you want all funds to be deposited to.

 

*Remember, the funds for your event will take 2 business days to reach your account. Make sure and terminate the confirmation date to be at least 2 business days before you will need the funds for your event*

INVITING GUESTS

At the Event Guest List page, you can enter new guests or just click Add Friends and you can select from friends you have already input into ChillHound. Select the guests you want to receive an invitation and you are just about done.

 

*Inviting Facebook Friends will generate a Facebook event within your Facebook account. This event can be accessed via Facebook and will allow you to provide status updates and share information. Friends that receive Facebook Invites MUST log in through Facebook. Otherwise you can invite them through email. *

INVITES SENT

Once your guest list is complete and everyone you want to attend is entered, just click the button that says “Send Invitations”. You will see a pop up that asks you to confirm that you want to send out invitation. Click “Yes” and you are done!! Invitations are out and the fun starts.
